Sidecar Signatures
Our inaugural menu at Sidecar, dubbed the Sidecar Signatures menu was curated by our co-founder, Yangdup, purely as a result of his experience and insight into the Indian spirit market. As the first showcase of the bar, there were no fancy concepts, just bold flavours that were in vogue at the time. Each drink had its own personality, and was unique in its style and flavour profile, some of whom continue to find a place in our Timeless ‘Tails list.
ALL THINGS GIN
This menu celebrated the spirit, as was obvious with the name itself, and we had more than 30 gins from all across the world – one of the biggest collections for a standalone bar at that time.
One signature serve was defined as a recommendation for each of the gins along with the garnish, based on whether it was more aromatic, or citrus-heavy or perhaps, more juniper-forward.

Summer Solstice
“Summer Solstice” stemmed from our love for tea and the fact that Yangdup hails from the mountains of Darjeeling. The collaboration with Makaibari Tea Estate – the world’s first organic tea estate and the first Fairtrade Certified Tea Estate in the world that produces India’s most expensive tea, Silvertips Imperial – located very close to his home, was launched in June 2021 and celebrated the brew in all its glory.
They created a specially harvested tea for Sidecar, Summer Solstice, from the Kodobari fields of Darjeeling, and our bar team worked on 5 exquisite signature cocktails using the lush second flush tea. The collaboration took 4 months of intense planning and was truly one of a kind.

A Desire Called Sidecar
“A Desire called Sidecar” was launched in November 2020 and was inspired by Greg Clarke and Monte Beauchamp’s book “A Sidecar Named Desire”.
A book about great writers and the booze that stirred them – what’s not to love! We chose ten authors with their favourite tipples and gave it a twist that would suit the character of the writer if he/she were to visit our bar in the present times.

Dear Delhi
“Dear Delhi” launched in April 2022 and was a love letter to the city that has given us so much love and recognition. 10 signature cocktails that revolved around Delhi’s rich flavour, culture, history and heritage.
Dear Delhi was an attempt to distil the very essence of the city and showcase it through a series of libations that are as unique as its history.

Sidecar has turned six years old and we’re excited to share with you our 5th Signature Menu – Sidecar Going Places.
This year, we wanted to share with you experiences and memories from our travels over the years. And that’s where our inspiration comes from.
